Harambee Stars defender Eric ‘Marcelo’ Ouma is targeting more assists with AIK in the new season.
It’s the second season with the Stockholm based side for the former Gor Mahia man with the first having had been dented by an injury.
The defender who has one assist already which came in their opening game last weekend against Degerfors while speaking to Pepeta admitted that it was an area he was looking to improve on.

“We all have personal targets but we have to ensure that they don’t supersede that of the team. Mine is to help the team defensively first and hope that I contribute with the goals too. I know what I am capable of and each day here is a learning day. I want to provide more assists this season and help the team achieve its goals,” Ouma said.
On the team goals, the left back added: “We want to do better than last season. Qualifying for Europe will be a great thing for us. For us, it’s just concentrating in the next game and hoping that we continue with the good start.”
Next for Ouma and AIK is a tie against IFK Goteborg on Monday 19, April 2021.
