Sofapaka head coach Ken Odhiambo believes the team can still win this season’s Kenyan Premier League title despite their position in the league.
Sofapaka hasn’t been at their best this season and suffered back to back defeats against Gor Mahia Nairobi City Stars in their last two games but despite the setback, Odhiambo believes that they have what it takes to give the leading teams a run for their money.

“We played our first match of the remaining 15 of the second leg. I believe we can make it by simply ensuring we score and keep tight at the back. Frankly speaking, we have a good team and what we need to do is to stay calm and motivate the players, we have seen teams make it and yes we too can do it,” Odhiambo is quoted by the cub’s media team.
On their poor form, the former City Stars man said they are things that happen in football but had identified where they went wrong and feel they can make things right in their coming ties.
“This is football and yes it happens, what matters is how you get yourself back on track after such situations. We have identified areas of concern that need to be addressed and am confident we shall be ready for the next match,” he added.
Sofapaka will be up against league leaders KCB in their next league game slated for Saturday.
