Gor Mahia midfielder Kenneth Muguna has completed his long-awaited move to Tanzania side Azam FC.

Pepeta can reveal that the player has already inked the deal and will join the club next season after the culmination of his contract with Gor Mahia in October.

Muguna had attracted offers from South Africa and a club in Tanzania but chose to move to Azam as they were the team that matched his demands.

This was Muguna’s second stint at Gor Mahia having arrived in 2018 from KF Tirana. His first stint came in 2017 after joining the team from Western Stima. And while he was handed the armband in his second coming, the role was later given to Harun Shakava who re-joined the club earlier this year.

He leaves Gor after helping them to the FKF Cup triumph where the club will now represent the country in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup.

Azam are currently placed third on the Ligi Kuu table with 64 points; 12 points behind Champions Simba and six behind second-placed Yanga SC.
