The FIFA World Cup trophy is set to arrive in Nairobi, Kenya on the 26th of May 2022.
FIFA in partnership with Cocacola chose Kenya as one of nine African countries to receive and host the trophy as part of an exclusive tour ahead of the 2022 World Cup which is slated later this year in Qatar.

The tour will give Kenyans the opportunity to get up close and personal with the official trophy that will be presented by FIFA to the winning country of this year’s showpiece set for November the 21st to December the 18th.
Speaking at the launch of the tour in Nairobi, Debra Mallowah, Vice President, Coca-Cola, East, and Central Africa Franchise said: “We are excited to bring the FIFA World Cup™ trophy to Kenya to give millions of Kenyans an opportunity to experience the magic of the event even if the country did not qualify for the tournament.

We are thrilled to share this iconic moment with our consumers, stakeholders, and football fans in Kenya. To enrich the experience in Kenya, Coca-Cola is launching a consumer promotion that will see five lucky consumers win a fully paid trip to Qatar to watch a World Cup match live.”
