Harambee Stars defender Clarke Oduor has been linked with a move away from English League One side Barnsley FC.
Oduor barely played last season with his club getting relegated from the Championship and according to Barnsley Chronicle, the team is looking to reduce their wage bill as they look to offset a £7-8million loss due to their relegation.

“The futures of the likes of Aaron Leya Iseka, Devante Cole, and Clarke Oduor are unclear after they all struggled for game time in the second half of the season, with the club keen to trim the wage bill,” the report said.
Oduor was one of the players the club retained after the end of the season with the list already submitted to the EFL officials.
“Players aged under 24 as of 30 June 2022 who have been retained or have a contract offer pending:
Joe Ackroyd, Jack Aitchison, Amir Ariely, Josh Benson, David Bremang, Kareem Hassan-Smith, Jordan Helliwell, William Hondermarck, Herbie Kane, Liam Kitching, William Lancaster, Aiden Marsh, Jasper Moon, Clarke Oduor, Romal Palmer, Patrick Schmidt, Jason Sraha, Callum Styles, Luke Thomas, Cameron Thompson, Jordan Williams, Charlie Winfield, Matthew Wolfe,” the club noted previously.
Those players are currently due back for pre-season later this month and are set to be assessed by a new coach whose appointment is expected in the coming weeks.
