Rooftop FC captain Steve Odundo has won the inaugural Pepeta player of the month award for October.

The defender was up against Washington, Forde, Don, and Lydia Waganda; each having won the player of the match award in the club’s five games in the month.

Odundo started the month perfectly with a strike against Powerlast FC, a game the club won 3-2 before following it up with another goal in the second game of the month against Mboka Diaspora. His third strike came in the last game of the month against Oserian Legends with the club going 3-2 down.

In the month, Rooftop played 5 games, won 3, and lost 2. They scored a total of 15 goals and conceded 12. They had eight different scorers during October, the highest in a single month with two ladies on the scorers’ list for the first time too.

By winning the award, Steve walked home with a cash prize and a personalized trophy.
