Mombasa-based side S.S ASSAD failed to turn up for their National Super League clash against Migori Youth on Monday 19th December.
The clash was slated for the Migori Stadium with the hosts now getting three points and two goals after their opponents failed to show up for the game.
And in a statement after the disappointment expressed by their fans, ASSAD said in a communication: “Dear fans. Due to logistic issues, SS Assad FC was unable to travel to Migori to honor the away match against Migori Youth FC scheduled for Monday 19.12.2022. Thanks.”

In other matches of the day, Naivas FC beat hosts Coastal Heroes 3-1 at Mombasa’s Mbaraki Grounds with Kibera Black Stars battling to a scoreless draw against Mara Sugar at Nairobi’s Camp Toyoyo.
The results came a day after league leaders Shabana FC were held to a goalless draw by Vihiga United in the first game of round five.
