Uganda FUFA Big League side Kitara Football Club has confirmed the departure of striker Patrick Kaddu to FKF Premier League giants Gor Mahia.

Kaddu who scored the winning goal to help Uganda qualify for their last African Cup of Nations has been linked with a move to Gor in the past month but the deal has now been confirmed by his current employers.

In a statement, Kitara said: “Our player Patrick Kaddu will be flying to Kenya to complete negotiations with Gor Mahia FC on Tuesday next week.

“He has been phenomenal since joining us last September scoring 15 goals in 15 matches.  We wish him the best in his new pursuit.”

The striker will be joining Gor at a time when they will be completing their transfer ban that has seen some of their new signings fail to be paraded for games; this lot including Enock Wanyama and Sylvester Owino who signed from Kariobangi Sharks and Kakamega Homeboyz respectively.

Away from Uganda, Kaduu has been the books of RS Berkane of Morocco, Ismaily of Egypt, and Berrechid of Morocco.
