AC Milan fans turned on Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte before their Tuesday night game in the Champions League.

The Rossoneri did take an early lead through Brahim Diaz in the first leg but La Gazzetta dello Sport state that when a minute of silence was maintained to pay tribute to the victims of the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, some Milan fans took that as a chance to abuse Conte.

While the people who abused Conte could not be identified by the cameras, chants of ‘Conte f*** you’ were heard during the period of silence.

Ivan Perisic was also booed by the Rossoneri fans, due to his links with Inter and that is where he had shared the dressing room with Conte himself, winning the Scudetto before the Italian departed and later joined Spurs. The chants against Conte and Perisic were quite easily heard, and it remains to be seen if UEFA will be taking action against the team.
