The FA Cup quarterfinal draw was conducted on Wednesday night after the competition games.
Having knocked out Premier League strugglers Southampton, League Two’s Grimsby face a trip to the south coast to face high-flying Brighton and there is guaranteed to be at least one non-Premier League club playing in the semi-finals at Wembley as second-tier pair Sheffield United and Blackburn were paired together.

The Manchester clubs avoided each other in the round with United being paired against Premier League rivals Fulham after eliminating West Ham in the last 16 of the competition.
Vincent Kompany with be returning to his former stomping ground when he leads Burnley FC to the Etihad to meet Manchester City for a place in the semi finals.

The four FA Cup quarter-finals are due to take place on the weekend of 18/19 March 2023.
