Real Madrid are considering hiring Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta as Carlo Ancelotti’s replacement should the Italian leave the club.
There have been reports that Ancelotti is at loggerheads with the club president Florentino Perez with the Italian earlier last week indicating that he wasn’t sure if he will be at the club past the summer.

Reports indicate that Perez has expressed his discontent over some of Ancelotti’s decisions of late. To begin with, the club president does not like the fact that the Italian is not giving enough chances to the likes of Marco Asensio and Dani Ceballos.

Tomas Gonzalez-Martin via Remontada Blanca now reports that Perez is on the lookout for replacements should Ancelotti leave with Arteta being on top of his targets.
The Spaniard has altered Arsenal’s destiny altogether in a very short period to an extent that they currently lead the Premier League standings by five points. In his three years of managerial career with Arsenal, he has won 97 of 166 games across all competitions, drawing 25 and losing 44.
