The former Manchester United player is said to have trained on Sunday morning but felt something in his muscle and pulled up when he was about to finish training. As a result, the decision has been made to exclude him from the squad for today’s game.
The player has only made two substitute appearances for his side since his summer move and was not part of the squad for the Europa League clash against Freiburg as he had arrived late for training.
