Smith arrives to replace Brendan Rodgers who was sacked by the club last week after a disastrous season that leaves them hanging precautiously at the tail end of the table.

“Smith brings a wealth of managerial experience and expertise to the role and, along with his coaching team, will be tasked with helping the Football Club retain its Premier League status as we head into the final eight games of the current season.”
Smith arrives after being sacked by Norwich in December, which took place less than a year following his Aston Villa exit and will be joined by former Villa assistants Craig Shakespeare, who also previously managed the Foxes, and John Terry.
It doesnt get easier for them as they face Manchester City in their first test this weekend with the club currently placed second from bottom.
