Harambee Starlets forward Esse Akida grabbed a brace as AC PAOK beat Ergotelis 2-0 in the Greek Women’s Football League playoffs on Saturday.
After a goalless first half, Akida opened the goalscoring proceedings in the 56th minute before doubling her and PAOK’s lead 15 minutes from time with a header after an excellent ball from Mitkkou.

The win sees PAOK set a date against Lefteris Kanata on Sunday 30th April away from home in the third playoffs of the Women’s League for the first leg before hosting the same team a week later for the second leg of the Playoffs.

PAOK finished their regular season on 36 points in an unbeaten fashion and will hope that they can wrap up the title before the end of the month
With the brace, Akida took her season tally to ten goals and has an extra four games to increase the tally before they wrap the season.
