The Football Kenya Federation has confirmed that Kenya’s Harambee Stars will take part in a four-nation tournament in Mauritius in June.
Hosts Mauritius, Pakistan, and Djibouti will be Stars opponents in the tournament that will take place between June 11, and June 18, 2023.
According to Kenya’s coach Engin Firat, the tournament will be used to prepare a formidable team for their upcoming CAF and FIFA assignments.
“This tournament offers us diversity in the opponents we shall face, especially at a time when most African nations are engaged in AFCON Qualifiers. Playing three matches gives me an opportunity to give more players a chance to show what they can offer,” Firat said as quoted by the Federation’s portal.
