Laliga giants Real Madrid have confirmed Eduardo Camavinga has ruptured the external lateral ligaments in his right knee.
While the duration of the injury he sustained while on international duty with France has not been mentioned, it is believed that the midfielder will be out for two months.
“After the tests carried out today on our player Eduardo Camavinga by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a rupture of the external lateral ligament in his right knee. Evolution pending,” the club said in a statement.
The injury adds to Carlo Ancelotti’s injury concerns, with fellow French midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni already out and Vinícius Júnior forced off in Brazil’s loss to Colombia last night amongst others.
