Speaking about their preparations, Babu said: “We had a huge pool of talent to choose from so I believe we have chosen the best for the tournament. There is no injury (from the group that we picked) and all are ready and ready to go. We are at home so our ambition is to win the title.”
Babu further urged fans to turn up in large numbers for the young boys in Kisumu and Kakamega and promised them good football.
“I have players who can play. They are young boys with good energy. We expect a lot from them and Kenyans should expect a lot from them too. I’m urging our fans in Kisumu and Kakamega to turn up in large numbers to watch the boys because I promise that they’ll enjoy the football that we will display,” he added.
The winners of each group will face off against the runners-up in the next round which will be the semi-finals that will take place on December 5th in Kisumu.
