Sweden Division 1 Södra (third tier) side Norrby IF has confirmed the departure of striker Henry Meja after the season ended.
The Kenyan has been with Norrby on a season-long loan deal from Swedish giants AIK where the player has since returned to.

“Loaned players Nils Wallenberg, Semir Bosnic, Hampus Gustafsson, and Henry Atola Meja return to their clubs. We therefore thank them for their time in Norrby IF and wish them the best of luck in the future,” Norrby said in a statement.
The 21-year-old striker who scored four goals in 13 games before an injury kept him out since June hopes that he gets more playing time at AIK as he works on reigniting his career at the Stockholm-based club. “I would love to get the chance in AIK again,” Meja has told Borås Tidning.
Meja is the second Kenyan player to return to AIK this month after that of defender Collins Sichenje who spent the entire season at Finish side KuPS where they missed the title by a whisker. Sichenje who missed the last Harambee Stars team with an injury is strongly being linked with a move in January.
He helped the club to sixth place finish in the Swedish Ettan having accumulated 44 points in 30 games.
