Harambee Stars defender Johnstone Omurwa amassed the full minutes as Estrela were eliminated from the Taca de Portugal competition after going 2-1 Vizela on Friday night.
Visitors, Estrala took a 19th minute lead through Kikas and were headed for a win until the last ten minutes when Bruno Wilson equalized for the hosts. Estrela was to receive a dent five minutes later when Leo Jaba was sent off for a second bookable offense with the game heading into extra time.

Matheus Pereira broke Estrala hearts with a goal in the 113th minute in what saw the visitors bow out of the Cup competition.
Attention for Omurwa and team now shifts to the league where they are scheduled to take on Rio Ave on December 2nd, 2023. The team is currently placed 12th with 11 points after 11 games and are doing everything to stay afloat in their first return to the Portuguese top flight.
Omurwa was part of the Harambee Stars team in last week’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers where he featured against Gabon and Seychelles; Stars going down to the former while thrashing the latter.
