England national team captain Harry Kane made history as Bayern Munich beat VfB Stuttgart 3-0 in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
Kane gave Bayern the lead in the first half before doubling his and the club’s tally just after the restart with a pinpoint header. His second goal of the night was his 20th on the campaign and made him the fastest player in the Bundesliga history to hit that tally.
The match was all but killed off when Kim Min-Jae headed home to put Bayern three in front – an insurmountable deficit for the visitors.
The win sees Bayern close the gap on the top to four points, but they have a game in hand on Bayer Leverkusen.
