FKF Premier League side Sofapaka FC has confirmed the appointment of Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno as their new head coach.
Zico arrives at the club after a short hiatus after leaving KCB FC before the start of the current season and will be supported by Ezekiel Akwana who has been in charge of the team on an interim basis.

“We are pleased to inform our fans, in a bid to boost the squad and the Technical Bench, we have appointed Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno to be the Head Coach of our team and will be assisted by Coach Ezekiel Akwana,” Sofapaka said in a statement.
Zico becomes the second coach for Batoto ba Mungu this season after the club parted ways with Burundian Francis Haringingo earlier after a poor start to the campaign.
Zico has a lot of work to do with the 2009 Champions with the club currently placed second from bottom with 14 points after 16 games. His first task will be to lead his charges against Bidco United this coming weekend.
Apart from KCB, Zico has previously handled Gor Mahia and Posta Rangers in the Kenyan top flight.
