Conte had strongly been linked with a move to Naples before they appointed Walter Mezzari whose start to work has been underwhelming with his latest dent coming in their 3-0 loss to Torino over the weekend.

Chaos did ensue after the game but some fans spoke to Conte, when he was leaving the stadium. CalcioNapoli24 reports that Conte did hint about a potential move to the club in the future, if he is approached properly. The Italian said: “It can be done, but I want to do things well.”

Napoli fans did state that ‘we will say you in Naples’ and Conte responded with a smile in what was a good moment involving the fans and the manager.

Napoli had approached Conte when they sacked Rudi Garcia but the former Tottenham and Chelsea boss refused to accept the offer as he wanted to spend more time with his family.
