Harambee Stars defender Erick ‘Marcelo’ Ouma ended his three-year association with AIK on Thursday night when he officially signed for Polish side Rakow Czestochowa.
The left back who signed a two year deal with an option to extend for another year will be hoping that he can propel his new side to greater heights as they resume the league in February for the second leg.

While a lot has been said about the move, AIK will pocket some good money from the sale of the player they would have left for free in January 2025.
While Ouma is valued at €1.50Million (KES 260M) in the Transfermarket, FotbollDirekt reports that the left-back was sold for SEK 12.5 million (KES 192M). The player’s former club IF Vasalund is entitled to 30% of the money meaning they walked home with KES 57M.
The player who has already reported to his new club went to social media to thank the AIK family for the love they showed him during his stay in Stockholm.
“Dear everyone in my AIK family, my teammates my coaches, management and the ever-amazing fans,” Ouma said. “Thank you for the support you have given me over the years. For the great memories we made and shared. I will always be grateful for donning this shirt 104 times in competition and running out with you.”
The player will be hoping to feature for his new side when they take on Mura in a friendly match on 24th January 2024.
