Zambia Super League side Napsa Stars has confirmed the signing of striker Vincent Oburu on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Oburu who is still in the books of Zesco United found games to come by in Ndola and the return of Jesse Were to the club was to limit his chances further with his parent club deciding to loan him out in their bid to have him play more games.

“Oburu joins the club on a six-month loan from Zesco United. Before his stint with Zesco United, he honed his skills and gained valuable experience with Kenyan clubs Wazito and AFC Leopards.
“A noteworthy detail in Oburu’s football journey is his participation as a full Kenya international, as he was an integral part of the Harambee Stars team that clinched the 2017 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup title,” Napsa said in a statement.
Oburu will be joining another Kenyan in David ‘Calabar’ Owino, who like Oburu, joined the club from Zesco and has since become one of the senior players at the club.
Apart from Oburu, the club also confirmed the arrivals of Congolese defender Raphael Mala Makubuli and Paul Banda.
Napsa has had a season to forget as they find themselves placed 15th on the league table with 22 points after 20 games.
