Swedish giants AIK has denied reports linking their defender Collins Sichenje with a move away from the club.
Reports emerged on Wednesday that the player had received an offer from AIK rivals Mjallby and that his club were willing to negotiate but the club’s sporting director Hasse Larsson has denied anything of that kind.

According to Larsson, the player is part of their plan in the new season as they were not looking to bring in any new player despite their transfer window still being open.
“No one has had any dialogue either with AIK or with the player’s agent (concerning a move),” Larsson to FotbollDirekt. “He is a very good player, so of course we have an eye on him, but I don’t know where (the links) comes from.”
Asked if they had plans of roping in another defender, Larsson added: “Not as the situation looks right now. The window is still on and will be open for a long time, but we feel very satisfied with the squad.”
Sichenje impressed on loan last year at Finnish side KuPs where he emerged as the club’s young player of the season and there had been reports that AIK were willing to shift him out again for another loan deal.
The player arrived at AIK from FKF Premier League side AFC Leopards in the winter of 2022 and has only made 12 first-team appearances. He is under contract with Solnaklubben until 2026.
