Los Angeles FC are in ‘advanced talks’ with AC Milan and France striker Olivier Giroud over a potential move in the summer.
The 37-year-old is in the final few months of his contract at the San Siro, and is apparently keen on joining former international teammate Hugo Lloris in sunny Southern California.
According to a report from the Athletic, Giroud is currently considering his options ahead of the summer.
LAFC has his MLS discovery rights, which means they have priority to sign him ahead of other MLS clubs should the negotiations over a deal be successful.
Since making the move to Milan from the Premier League in in the summer of 2021, Giroud has scored 46 goals and played a key role in the club’s 2021/22 Serie A title.
