Tanzania giants Simba SC have confirmed the death of their former coach Adel Zrane which happened on Tuesday morning.
Zrane worked with Simba between 2018 to 2021 before moving to Rwanda where he has been serving APR in the same capacity.

Confirming his death, APR said in a statement;” It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our fitness coach Dr. Adel Zrane under circumstances yet to be determined. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
On their part, Simba condoled with Zrane family with a statement that stated; “The club management has received a shocking news of the death of our former fitness coach Adel Zrane which happened today in the morning in Rwanda,” Simba said in a statement. “Zrane was a decent human being, funny and a friend to our players who was loved by everyone when he was with us between 2018 to 2021.
“Simba is condoling with the family, APR team and friends of football following this heavy loss and we pray to God to rest his soul in eternal peace.”
Tabloids in Rwanda have reported that the coach was found dead in his house in the morning when he didn’t show up for training prompting the club official to send someone to go and check on him.
With his passing, APR has confirmed that their next game against AS Kigali which was slated for this Friday has since been postponed.
