It was a Kenyan affair on Sunday in Zambia when Zesco United battled to a 2-2 draw against Zanaco FC in the country’s Super League.
Zanaco had John Ochieng feature for 77 minutes in a match that saw former Gor Mahia striker Francis Mustafa score a spectacular goal for the visitors in what would have been a winner but Samson Ngoma had other ideas when he scored three minutes from time to earn the hosts a point.

Hosts Zesco United had Harambee Stars keeper Ian Otieno between the sticks for the entire game with Jesse Were failing to make the match day squad just as defender Dennis Nganga for Zanaco.
The draw leaves Zesco second on the log with 50 points, seven behind leaders Red Arrows. Zanaco are ninth with 35 points.
At the Reiz Arena, Vincent Oburu opened his Napsa account in style as his solo strike in the 21st minute was all his club needed to down Forest Rangers on Sunday.
Oburu was replaced by his Kenyan counterpart David ‘Calabar’ Odhiambo eight minutes from time in the game.
In Tanzania, Elbis Rupia won the man-of-the-match accolade after opening the scores in Ihefu FC’s 3-0 win over KMC FC in the CRDB Bank Confederations Cup on Saturday. Rupia’s goal was assisted by Harambee Stars midfielder Duke Abuya in a game that saw Joshua Onyango captain the side.
The man of the match accolade came with a token of Tsh 500000 (Apprx Ksh 25000) for Rupia.
Defender Clyde Senaji featured for Naysa Big Bullets as their opened their title defence in Malawi with a 1-1 draw against Dedza Dynamos FC.
