La Liga president Javier Tebas has revealed that Real Madrid will complete the signing of Kylian Mbappé in the coming days.
Mbappe confirmed last week that he was leaving Paris Saint Germain after seven years with the French giants and negotiations are said to be going with Madrid over a summer move where he will be joining as a free agent.
Speaking in an interview with Argentine outlet Diario Olé, La Liga’s president was drawn on the long-rumoured arrival of another of world football’s standout performers in Spain.
And Tebas did not hesitate in confirming that Real Madrid have already signed Mbappé, who has committed to terms with the Champions League finalists through the summer of 2029: “Mbappé already signed with Real Madrid. He will be here next season and for the next five seasons in Spain.”
It is believed that Carlo Ancelotti wants to use Mbappe as his main striker after failing to replace Karim Benzema who left the club last summer for Saudi Arabia.
Madrid have already wrapped up the Laliga title and are in the finals of the UEFA Champions League where they are slated to take on Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
