Kenyan duo of Frank Odhiambo and Henry Meja both featured as AFC Eskilstuna recorded their first three points of the season following their 1-0 over IF Vasalund on Tuesday evening.
With the game headed for a draw, visitors Eskiltuna popped up with what proved to be the winner from Azizovic eight minutes from time via a penalty.

Both Odhiambo and Meja featured in the entire game where the former got a yellow card for his troubles in the 19th minute. Vasalund, who hosts another Kenyan duo of Anthony Wambani and Mohamed Katana, failed to use the two players.
The win propels them to 12th on the Swedish Ettan table with seven points after 8 games with Vasalund dropping to 6th on the log having collected 13 points from the same number of games this season.
Vasalund’s next match will be away to Friska Viljor on 19th May 2024 on the same day that Eskilstuna will be hosting Sollentuna in their backyard.
