Celtic beat Premier League Champions Manchester City 4-3 in a preseason friendly staged in the United States on Wednesday morning.

The Scottish giants snatched the lead thanks to a slick counter-attack that was capped off by Nicolas-Gerrit Kühn but City pulled level past the half-hour mark when youngster Oscar Bobb managed to squeeze the ball through the onrushing Kasper Schmeichel.

Parity only lasted a few minutes as Nicolas-Gerrit Kühn found success down the right-wing once again, cutting onto his left foot before finding the back of the net to give Celtic the lead once again.

It went from good to great for Brendan Rodgers’ side when bagged a goal of his own before the break to double the lead.

City came roaring back with goals from substitute Máximo Perrone, and Erling Haaland but Celtic answered yet again when Luis Palma got his name on the scoresheet with a goal on the break.
