Harambee Stars duo of Collins Sichenje and Timothy Ouma recorded contrasting results in the UEFA Europa League Qualifying games staged on Thursday night.
At the TSC Arena, hosts Vojvodina’s journey in the Europa ended after going 3-1 down and 4-1 on aggregate to Ajax Amsterdam.

The hosts once again entrusted Sichenje to play the entire game but that couldn’t prevent a loss that now sends them to the UEFA Conference League where they will have a date against Maribor.
In Sweden, Ouma’s Elfsborg made it to the third qualifying stage of the Europa League following their 2-0 win over visitors Sheriff having beaten their Thursday visitors 1-0 in the first leg.
Ouma who is being linked with a move away from the club managed 67 minutes and will be hoping that he can play more minutes when they take on Rijeka in the next round of the qualification.
In Armenia, Harambee Stars duo of Alwyn Tera and Amos Nondi both featured as Ararat Armenia managed a 3-1 win over Zimbru in the UEFA Conference League; the Armenia side proceeding with a 6-1 aggregate following their 3-0 win in the first leg.
Nondi started the game but only played the first half with Tera being introduced on the hour mark for Ambartsumyan. The win will see them face Hungarian side Puskas in the next round of the qualification.
