Kenya’s football governing body Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has released the fixtures for the new 2024/25 FKFPL season that shall start on the 24th of August.

The release of the fixtures gives a green light to top-flight clubs that are already in camp preparing for the new campaign. In the released Premier League Saturday schedule, mailmen Posta Rangers shall meet Mombasa-based side Bandari in an early opening match at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos before 12-time league champions Tusker play 2009 winners Sofapaka at the very venue.

In another early kick-off match, KCB will be hosting Kariobangi Sharks at Police Sacco stadium in the capital in early 2024 Mozzart Bet winners Kenya Police lock horns with Nairobi City Stars at the same venue.

Slum boys Mathare United who are making a return to the top-flight league after a season in the NSL shall welcome former champions AFC Leopards at Dandora Stadium.

On Sunday, August 25, Muranga SEAL will travel to Lang’ata, Nairobi and battle with Ulinzi Stars at Ulinzi Sports Complex when FC Talanta will be at home Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos to host defending champions Gor Mahia.

At Thika Stadium in Kiambu county, coach Anthony Akhulia led-side shall welcome Sammy Omollo’s Shabana when Awendo Stadium in Migori will be hosting the first Premier League match after 5 years as newbies Mara Sugar start their top-tier journey against Kakamega Homeboyz.

The biggest fixture in FKF Premier League, The Mashemeji Derby between arch-rivals K’ogalo and Ingwe has also been captured. The first leg, AFC Leopards shall be the hosts on Sunday, November 24 before the return leg played next year on April 6.

The league shall take a weeks break for international assignments before returning on the 14th of September.
