Kenyan tactician Francis Kimanzi is confident that Tabora United will be better with more games after taking over the reins of the team.
Kimanzi, who left his role as Mathare United’s head coach earlier in the month after helping them to promotion to the Kenyan top flight, has already overseen one game where they lost to Simba SC over the weekend.

Asked after the game about the outcome of the game, Kimanzi remarked: “We won’t talk about the results today (on Sunday) because I have a project to build. The boys are doing their best and we are motivated. With time I think we will be a better team because we are building slowly by slowly.”
Hard-pressed to talk about the results of the tie, the former Harambee Stars coach admitted that Simba were superior to his team but absconded his players from the blame.
“The opponents (Simba) were better but we did our best and I don’t want to blame any of the players because there is more to come from us,” he added.
Kimanzi has signed a one-year deal with the club to replace Masoud Juma will be hoping for a change of fortunes when they take on Namungo in their next league game in the Tanzania Premier League.
