Kenya’s women’s football team, under the banner of Vijana Amani Pamoja, is set to participate in the 19th edition of the Homeless World Cup.
The event which will take place in Seoul, Korea, from September 21st to 28th, 2024 will see the country compete against powerhouses like Mexico, the USA, France, and Germany in what promises to be a thrilling tournament.

The Kenyan squad has a notable name in Harambee Starlets U20 captain and Kenya Police Bullets FC midfielder Jane Hato.
Everlyne Achieng will coach the team, and Nancy Enos will serve as the team manager. Seline Achieng, who plays for Mathare United, will captain the squad, including Jerrine Nun (Mathare United), Verah Adhiambo (Msedo), and Esther Oloo.
The Homeless World Cup, an annual tournament organized by the Homeless World Cup Foundation, aims to raise awareness about homelessness while using football as a tool for social change. The participants are individuals who have experienced homelessness, and this year’s games will be streamed live on FIFA+.
The competition’s format is fast-paced, with teams playing 4-a-side matches, offering a unique challenge for all participants.
