Harambee Stars goalkeeper Ian Otieno played the entire game as Richards Bay went 0-2 down to Sekhukhune United in a South Africa Premier Soccer League game on Tuesday evening.

After a goalless first half, Mkhize gave United the lead in the 71st minute with Mbule ensuring that the points were safe in the 90th minute; visitors Bay were to finish the game with ten men following the sending off of Mbuthuma eight minutes from time.

It was the third appearance for the Kenyan keeper in Bay colours since his summer move from Zambia Super League side Zesco United. The goals were the first he has conceded after keeping two clean sheets in his past two outings.

In England, Vincent Harper assisted as Exeter City emerged 3-2 winners over Bristol Rovers in the EFL Trophy.

Harper who was introduced in the 63rd minute when the game was at 2-2 popped up with the decisive assist two minutes from time as Mitchell nodded the winner to propel them to the next round of the competition.

Eric Johanna Omondi was introduced in Romania at the start of the second half as UTA Arad battled to a 1-1 draw against hosts Politehnica Iasi in the Cupa Romaniei.
