Kenyan international Adam Wilson played a pivotal role in The New Saints’ (TNS) dominant 4-0 victory over Penybont, providing two assists as the league leaders extended their lead at the top of the JD Cymru Premier table to six points.

The Saints secured their seventh consecutive league win convincingly at Park Hall, with goals from Danny Davies, Aramide Oteh, Ryan Brobbel, and substitute Ben Clark sealing the comprehensive victory.

Wilson, who is on loan from Bradford City, showcased his creative brilliance early in the match, delivering a pinpoint cross in the 11th minute that allowed Davies to head home the opener. His second assist came in the 53rd minute when his well-placed cross found Oteh at the back post, with the striker calmly converting his 15th goal of the season.

Wilson was also instrumental in earning a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area in the 63rd minute, which Brobbel expertly curled into the top corner to make it 3-0.

The second half saw TNS step up their intensity and were awarded late into the match with Ben Clark’s strike in the 88th minute capping off a brilliant performance for Craig Harrison’s side.

With this win, The New Saints moved six points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand. They will look to extend their winning streak when they face Caernarfon Town at The Oval on Tuesday, February 11.
