Harambee Stars defender Eric ‘Marcelo’ Ouma provided an assist as Rakow Czestochowa were held to a 1-1 draw away to Puszcza Niepolomice in the Polish Ekstraklasa on Monday night.

Visitors Rakow took the lead when Ouma’s cross was turned in by Ivi Lopez in the 28th minute, and when they were headed for a famous win, the hosts restored parity in stoppage time through Barkovskiy.

Despite the draw, Rakow are still top of the table with 56 points, three above their title rivals Lech Poznan, with seven games left to play.

In another game on Monday night, defender Collins Sichenje featured in the entire game as Vojvodina ended their season with a 3-1 win over Mladost Lucani in the Serbian Super Liga.

Visitors Vojvodina opened the scoring through Romanic in the 21st minute, with Savicevic ensuring that they went into the half-time break with a healthy 2-0 lead. Ortiz pulled a goal back for the hosts five minutes after resumption, but Velickovic ensured the visitors finished the game with a two-goal cushion with a goal in stoppage time.

The win leaves Vojvodina in fifth place with 42 points, the same points as their Monday opponents, who now drop a position below by virtue of goal difference.
