Gomboto Youth FC and Arrow of Kajembe were crowned the 2025 Kwale County Tujiamini Cheza Dimba champions in games staged on Sunday 21st September 2025.
Both teams won the final in post match penalties with Gombato beating Majestic Sports Arena FC 3-0 while Kajembe overcoming Mombasa Olympic Queens 4-2 in the shootouts.

The competition had attracted two ladies team with the men’s category having six teams that were divided into two groups. The boys champions walked home with sh 750000 with the girls pocketing sh 50000.
In Group A was Kubo Rangers, Fahari FC, Majestic with Group B containing Migundini FC, Simba Warrrior and Gombato FC; the latter and Majestic winning their respective groups to set a final clash which was attended by Kwale County Football Kenya Federation chairman Hamisi Mwajoka and the County Executive Committee Member for Social Services and Talent Management, Madam Francisca Kilonzo.
Speaking during the event, Kilonzo insisted on the importance of the tournament as she urged more sponsors to come on board to support the talent in her country.
“This initiative will go along way in nurturing talents in the County. We want more sponsors to come on board to help support the young who wants to take sports as a career. We thank Sportpesa for coming back again to offer a platform for young people to showcase what they can do,” she remarked.

Her sentiments were echoed by Kajembe head coach Joseph Oyoo who hailed her girls for the title triump.
“I have been with the team for two months and most of them are from Kajembe Secondary School. Such tournaments are important because it gauges the level of preparations we have done as we seek to form a formidable team for future tournaments,” Oyoo said.
John Kazungu, the Migunduni head coach hailed the level of preparation from Sportpesa and revealed that it was a platform where he came too as a scout for his team.
“Despite us being eliminated in the group stage, I have spotted some good players from the other teams who I feel can be helpful to us as we begin our journey in the County League. This has been a good platform by Sportpesa and my hope is they can extend the olive branch to Kilifi County where we are from,” Kazungu added.
Tujiamini is a sports and talent initiative by SportPesa that empowers Kenyan athletes, teams, and other talents through sponsorships and financial support.
Away from football, the event also saw Tujiamini award Silver and Gold Winners in a program that supports grassroots talent and community development through monthly and multi-year sponsorships.
Tailor Matano Sande, one of the silver winners, expressed his delights at the award which he said would help him stabilize his business.
