Sportpesa League side Nairobi United will walk home with a sum of sh 51 Million if they can make it to the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) had revised the money given to teams that make it past the preliminary stage with the current amount being $400,000.

The Johnson Sakaja-backed club have a healthy 2-0 lead from their first leg tie played in Nairobi over the weekend against Etoile du Sahel and will need just to avoid defeat in the second leg clash set to Tunis on Friday.

Naibois have already earned $100,000 (Ksh12.9 million) from CAF for playing in the preliminary round and would love to increase earn more amount if they can stop the Tunisian side.

The incentives doesn’t end there as CAF will hand the a sum of $550,000 (Ksh71 millionif they make it to the quarterfinals stage and $750,000 (Ksh97 million) for a semi final berth. A sum of $1 million (Ksh129 million) for coming second and $2 million (Ksh258 million) if they win the competition.
