Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side Wazito Fc has appointed Francis Kimanzi as their new head coach.
In a statement, the club noted: “We are pleased to announce the appointment of Francis Kimanzi as our new head coach ahead of the 2020/21 FKF Premier League (FKF-PL) campaign that kicks off in a week’s time.”

Kimanzi will have former Kenya U20 and Thika United tactician John Kamau as his assistant coach with Kimanzi arriving with keeper trainer Samuel Koko whom he worked with at Mathare United; apart from Mathare, Koko handled keepers at Zoo FC.
Also joining the team is Sylvia Kariuki who will serve as the club’s players’ monitor with former Muhoroni Youth assistant coach Jeff Odongo acting as the club’s trainer.
Kimanzi is the most qualified coach in the country and has handed the Kenya U23 team with his last job being with the Kenyan national men football team Harambee Stars. Apart from the national teams and Mathare United, the coach has tuned Sofapaka FC and Tusker FC in the Premier League.
