Harambee Stars midfielder Johanna Omolo has moved to Turkey with Erzurumspor acquiring his services for an undisclosed period.

 

A statement by the club said: “Aatıf Chahechouhe, Jahanna Omolo and Manuel Da Costa are joining the team and we wish them good luck.”

Aatıf Chahechouhe previously featured for Fenerbahçe with Manuel Da Costa playing for Trabzonspor but left the team in December following the expiry of his contract and joins the team as a free agent.

 

Omolo on the other hand had been in the book of Belgian top flight side Cercle Brugge for the past four years.

 

Promoted to the Turkish top flight in the 2017/18 season, the club who currently are placed at the bottom of the Turkish Super League standings with 13 points after 18 rounds, will hope they can integrate the new players in their next game against Alanyaspor on Thursday 14, January.

 

Founded in 2005, they play their games at the 23000 capacity Kazim Karabekir Stadium located in the city of Erzurum.
