Al Duhail, home to Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga has landed in Group C on the AFC Champions League Tournament.
The draw which was conducted on Wednesday in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur saw Duhail paired with Al Ahly Saudi (KSA), Esteghlal (IRN), and Al Shorta (IRQ).

Defending Champions Ulsan Hyundai FC are in Group F together with Thailand’s BG Pathum United, Vietnam’s Viettel FC, and a playoff winner; Persepolis, also runners-up in 2018, were drawn with Al Rayyan of Qatar, India’s FC Goa and a playoff winner in Group E.
The matches kicks off next April to be played in centralized venues due to the precautionary measures imposed by the Asian federation to confront the Corona virus.
The 2021 AFC Champions League will see 40 teams in the group stage – an increase of eight – with one additional group each in the East and West Zones.
The AFC Champions League is an annual continental club football competition organized by the Asian Football Confederation with the winner representing the Asian continent in the FIFA Club World Cup.
