The Kenyan Premier League promotional race is heating up after FC Talanta beat Nairobi Stima 3-1 to put pressure on league leaders Kenya Police.
In a game staged at the Ruaraka Grounds, Talanta took a 3-0 lead though a brace from Barrack Odhiambo and another from Francis Kahiro goals which rendered John Njoroge’s strikes a mere consolation.

In other matches of the day, Mount Kenya pulled an upset following a 2-1 win over favorites Coast Stima at Camp Toyoyo.
On Monday, Kisumu All Stars overcame visiting Mwatate FC 1-0 at Moi Stadium-Kisumu with Vihiga Bullets escaping with the entire points from Mombasa when they stunned hosts Modern Coast Rangers with the same score line.
