Tusker FC best player in the month of February Jackson Macharia has dedicated his monthly gong to his mother.
Macharia was crowned as the team’s best last month after coming off the bench to score two goals against Wazito FC and Nzoia Sugar FC before wrapping up the month with a goal in the club’s 4-1 win over Posta Rangers.

As quoted by the club’s website, the midfielder said of the award: “I dedicate this award to my mum because she has been very supportive of all my endeavors and has been there for me all through. To me she’s the best and she is part of my success.
“I really feel grateful to be rewarded by the team but it is not just my effort. It has been a collective team effort and everyone has been working hard from the technical bench to the players. As a team we are pleased with the performance we have had.
“This is a motivation to keep working hard and make achievements for the team. We need to ensure that the performance remains on top and for me, I will keep giving my best for the team.”
