While revealing the extent of his injury, Muguna told Pepeta: “I went for an x-ray and the results came out yesterday (Monday). It’s a minor sprain of the medial collateral ligament and a small joint effusion. The doctor said I am to be out for three weeks.”
His injury comes at a time when the government of Kenya suspended all sporting activities in the country owing to the increase of Covid infections. It will be a reprieve of sort for Gor Mahia who will be needing all their players to be fit as they try to defend their title.
Kogalo are currently placed seventh with 22 points after 14 games; two games less than leaders Tusker who are on 36 points.
