Tusker FC striker Chris Onyango believes that their win against Kariobangi Sharks in their last outing came at a perfect time of the season.
The brewers arrived in the game against Sharks without a win in the past two games but did just what was required to win the game as they seek to wrestle the title from Gor Mahia.

Ahead of their clash against Western Stima on Wednesday 23, June 2021, Onyango told the club’s portal: “I am really thankful that we won, but all through it has been a collective effort from the entire team. In the game against Sharks, we worked as a team and credit go to everyone.
“Mentally it has been very tough over the last two weeks with back-to-back losses. It was not an easy time and it was very crucial for us to go grab a win against the Sharks. The victory is a stepping stone to approach the next game against Western Stima. We go in with some different morale and we want to keep the winning run.”
A win for Tusker will see them regain their position on top of the log.
