Harambee Stars striker Henry Meja will be with Kenyan Premier League Champions Tusker FC until January 2022.
The player signed a five-year deal with Swedish giants AIK earlier in the month but will only join the team when the Swedish window opens on Monday.

“AIK Football has agreed with Tusker FC on a transfer of the 19-year-old Kenyan national team forward Henry Atola Meja. The agreement between the parties is valid until September 1, 2026.
“The player joins his new team as soon as his work permit is granted, but will not be ready to play until January 2022 when the Swedish transfer window opens,” AIK said in a statement.
The move should be a boost for head coach Robert Matano who has been busy in the transfer window but is yet to sign a striker.
It is not clear whether Meja is on the team’s list for the CAF Champions League games with Tusker set to meet Djibouti’s Arta Solar this weekend for their return leg in the preliminary round of the competition.
