Unlike the opening day of the season when there were 16 goals, week two of the FKF Premier League saw a total of 14 goals scored with only two teams managing goals on Saturday.

In week two, on Saturday, there was a total of three games with only the Gor Magia v Bidco game producing goals. Benson Omala was once again on the scoresheet to bring his season tally to two goals with George Odhiambo being among the goals too; Bidco got their consolation through an Ezekiel Okare penalty.

On Sunday, there was a floodgate of goals with the Tusker and Kariobangi Sharks games producing five goals each. Tusker beat City Stars 4-1 where Ugandan Deogratious Ojok grabbed a hattrick to go top of the goalscorers list with the brewers’ other goal scored by Jackson Macharia; their opponents scoring first through Samuel Kapen.

In the Sharks game, the William Muluya side emerged 3-2 winners over Ulinzi Stars with goals from Kevin Musamali, Fortune Omoto, and Tyson Otieno with their opposition goals coming from Boniface Muchiri and Hillary Simiyu.

Kakamega Homeboyz who lost their opening game of the season was to redeem themselves in week two with Levis Okelo goal proving the difference in their tie against KCB FC.
