High-flying KCB FC were forced to fight for a 1-1 draw against Posta Rangers in an FKF Premier League game staged early on Wednesday afternoon.

Rangers came into the game with a lot of questions to answer after their 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday and they were to take the lead just after seven minutes through Michael Apudo’s penalty after Brian Marita had been brought down in the box by Harun Mwale.

While Rangers had been in the lead heading into the break, KCB coach Zedekiah Otieno made a triple change just minutes after the hour mark and the impact was immediate. Less than two minutes after the subs, they were to find an equalizer after Bramwel Chemweno was fouled in the box. Up stepped defender Maurice Ojwang to restore parity. Despite the tight duel in the remaining minutes, both teams had to settle for a draw.

KCB travels to Muhoroni to face Wazito FC in their next game with Rangers having a date with FC Talanta in Thika.
